FUSION X-PAR 8Z

The FUSION X-PAR 8Z is the most compact and lightest of FUSION by GLP's X-PAR series of weatherproof (IP65) LED PARs, with motorised zoom function. The FUSION X-PAR 8Z is a real all-rounder and is suitable for a wide range of applications. At just 4.5 kg, it is also a real lightweight that makes it ideal for applications with limited space.

Whether for use individually or in a matrix, as eye candy on stage, as a coloured beamlight or for homogeneous illumination of surfaces, the FUSION X-PAR 8Z’s motorised zoom makes all this possible. And with its IP65 classification, the spotlight is also ideal for façade lighting.

From a highly efficient 80-watt RGBL LED, the X-PAR 8Z emits up to 1,800 lm with excellent light quality thanks to GLP's patented iQ.Gamut colour calibration. The extremely compact housing (175 x 175 x 249 mm) allows it to be used in a variety of applications, and the 132 mm Fresnel lens ensures an excellent light image. Thanks to the motorised zoom, powerful 8.5° beams are just as possible as homogeneous washes up to 55°.

A variable colour temperature adjustment from 2,500 to 10,000 Kelvin, four dimmer curves, seven PWM settings, including magenta/green shift correction and a virtual colour wheel with 64 referenced LEE colours, round off the features of the FUSION X-PAR 8Z.

Finally, the fixture’s fanless cooling system also allows it to be used in noise-sensitive environments. The device supports DMX, RDM and iQ.Mesh.

GLP promises new product showcase for ISE 2024

Following the overwhelming success of its new product showcase at LDI in Las Vegas a few months earlier, GLP will bring the best from this next-generation portfolio to the Fira Barcelona Gran Via for the benefit of global visitors to ISE 2024. Occupying booth 1D550 (in Hall 1) at the four-day expo, the company has noted the significant crossover in visitor profile, as the installation community – the show’s traditional heartland – now joins forces with the increasing numbers from the concert touring world. The manufacturer’s new portfolio reflects the needs of both worlds, and therefore offers several European premieres to suit different applications. [widgetkit id="396" name="2024-04-ISE-2024-Preview"] Pride of place goes to the new JDC2 IP hybrid strobe, which builds on the legacy of the JDC1 and JDC Line – but goes much further. The new IP65-certified JDC2 is bigger than its predecessor, significantly brighter, and offers several new features. Also with the outdoors in mind is the impression X5 IP Maxx. After the successful launch of the impression X5 Wash, the impression X5 IP Maxx is an even more powerful sister device for applications from greater distances, and – thanks to the IP65 rating – also for use outdoors. Boasting an extensive effects package, the impression X5 IP Maxx emits an extraordinary luminous flux of up to 24,000 lumens with an expanded colour space, from 37 powerful 40W RGBL LEDs. Like all devices in the X5 Series, the X5 IP Maxx is equipped with the new iQ.Gamut colour algorithm, which means it always offers a clean white point with a CRI 90+ / TLCI 90 at 6,500 Kelvin. Finally, the FUSION X-PAR 8Z and FUSION X-PAR 18Z complete the family of weatherproof LED PARs, with motorised zoom (up and down). The FUSION X-PAR 8Z is the most compact and lightest representative in the FUSION X-PAR Series. It is a real all-rounder and is suitable for a wide range of applications. At just 4.5 kg it is also extremely lightweight, and will find a place in applications with limited space. In contrast to the FUSION X-PAR 12Z (120W), the FUSION X-PAR 18Z has a 180W RGBL LED, for even greater power output.
